  • The purpose of the Idaho Thoroughbred Association is to foster and promote the thoroughbred industry within the state of Idaho. 

  • The ITA is a non-profit association creating and providing financial interest for those who breed, own, and race Idaho Thoroughbred horses.

Everyone is invited to the
34th annual Idaho Horse Council Annual Convention and Membership Meeting
to be held at the Best Western Inn and Suites,  Caldwell, ID
November 21, 2009

Registration starts at 8:00am through lunch finishing up with a banquet in the evening. 
Registration has several options if you are unable to attend the full day.

On the agenda is Racing in Idaho with a panel discussion.

Officers and Board of Directors

Idaho Thoroughbred Association is a non-profit organization run by the elected Officers and  Board of Directors, all of whom are regular members in the association and actively engaged in the Thoroughbred industry. 

The Officers, consisting of the President, Vice-President, Past President and Financial Officer, have general charge of the business and property of the association.  The  fifteen Board members regulate and manage the business of the association through regular board meetings.

Anyone who has an interest in the thoroughbred industry in Idaho can become a member.  Membership dues are $50.00 annually.  The benefits of ITA membership are numerous, including eligibility to enter your thoroughbreds into the Idaho Cup Program or any ITA Idaho-bred Stakes race.  There are also services such as a copy of an annual Idaho Racing & Breeding Thoroughbred statistical review magazine, monthly newsletter, free classifieds, free produce record information, and an equine library located in the ITA office which is open at the hours listed below.
